Our mission is simple: to discover the best of contemporary photography and share it with the largest audience possible.

LensCulture is one of the most comprehensive and far-reaching resources for discovering contemporary photography talent around the world. We believe that recognition and exposure are essential for photographers of all levels to move forward creatively and professionally, and this belief underpins our ongoing efforts to share, celebrate, and reward great photography.

Over 15 years, we’ve built a global online audience of more than three million photography makers, lovers, and thinkers from 160 countries and we’re proud to offer career-changing opportunities through our photography awards, exhibitions in leading cities, festival screenings, and books. With our online magazine, submission reviews, and our free downloadable guides we aim to be the home of photography inspiration, advice, and recommendations for our community because they are the beating hearts and curious minds at the center of everything we do, and our goal is to help them succeed.

I am super excited and honored to be selected as one of the finalist winners of the prestigious Magnum Photography Awards 2017! This is such a high world’s class distinguished and great accomplishment. The submissions have arrived from photographers in 152 countries. The winning photographers—who come from 24 countries on 5 continents—present us with a remarkable array of subject matter, stylistic approaches, and personal visions. Immerse yourself in a sweeping selection of work and perspectives from around the world. Each of these projects, whether a single picture or an extended series, harnesses the power of photography to inform and inspire, stimulating a sense of outrage or activism, wonder, and hope. Congrats to all winners and many, many thanks to Magnum, world-renowned curators, and experts from organizations like National Geographic and Aperture

Sometimes, the things that matter in life are simply a reflection of our minds, a meditative moment…The presented photo was captured during a destination wedding in the Caribbean.

While I was looking for inspiration, I accidentally entered a mysterious room, with a woman lying on the bed. She was completely indifferent to my presence. I thought it would make for a great location: I could hang the wedding gown and potentially combine God, marriage, and intrigue…
